The Veterans's hit the Beaches!!

Hastings conjured up 2 crews for the Veterans's IV's.
The Veteran A crew of Paul Knight, Paul Heskett, Mark King and Ian Smith were coxed by Eloise.
The veteran B crew of Bob Salmon, Steve Callar, Nick Neale and Allan Piper were coxed by Ryan.
Bexhill and Folkestone deliberately tried to put off Mr Allan Piper by splashing our crew with sea water. Allan won't row again if he gets wet!
In spite of the splashing the A crew stormed ahead and in a closely run race just pipped Folkestone at the finish to win the veteran's race!
Congratulations to the Vets and to their cox Eloise seen here making her way up the beach ready to get her medal!
Once again our 2 scullers took to the water this time in the same race. Always a difficult event Mr Mark King was hit by a boat in the final to rob him of a probably pot at our own regatta. Hard luck guys!
...and finally some glamour arrived to check out the talent!. Miss Katie Barnard and friend raising the temperature in some quarters!
