The main Hastings event of the day was the Ladies Junior IV race which had Shoreham with 4 wins and Hastings 3. So this being the last race of the Season could Hastings get the equalising win and force a showdown over who represents the Coast in the South Coast Championships at Dartmouth.
After special coaching from in-demand Coach Rob Ferguson who concentrated on the Ladies Start it all came together as they stormed ahead from the off.
By the end it was a comfortable win for Hastings!
Hastings 4-4 Shoreham !
A one off race could not be held on the day as Shoreham could not stay.
The agreed new race will be next High Noon on Sunday 20th at Bexhill !
The winner goes to Dartmouth!!
