Our Ladies Ella, Vicky, Eveline, Lucy with cox Fiona are ready for the big race. Both they and Shoreham have 3 wins each.
A potential problem is Hastings are drawn on the outside which means rougher water while Shoreham have drawn no 1.
The rougher water is soon met.
However we go well down the first 1/2 of the race.
The all important turn has meant we were pushed out to sea.
So on the way back its Shoreham in the lead.
Eventually Shoreham come first.
A brave effort but its second place for Our Ladies.
Folkestone are third...
