Dorney Lake September 8th
(All the rowing pictures of crews taken about 80 yards from the finish)
Welcome to the 51st South Coast Rowing Championships held this year for the first time at Dorney Lake at Eton.
This purpose built site will be the 2012 Olympic rowing venue and for many of us was the first chance to experience competing there.

CARA ( Kent and Sussex), H&D (Hants and Dorset) and Weara (West of England) crews were represented.
There were 54 races in total.
The Junior Regatta was held first with 22 races in Sculls, Pairs and IV's
I have taken pictures of , almost, every crew from race 12 to race 54 including heats. Below is a web reduced version of the Junior pictures plus finals only of the main regatta. However all the original pictures are on a CD. If your club would like a copy then please email me your address and I will send you one. Please distribute to other people in your club if required. You will need a photo program to enhance, clip and rotate pictures !
Apology: If I have mis-identified crews. The tannoy system will need to be improved for 2012 ! It was impossible to hear at the beginning and difficult later Also identifying crews afterwards can be dodgy as there are no numbers on the sides plus some crews have imaginative versions of their colour patterns.
The pictures are based on first past the 80 yard position from the end .
